Specials on transfers include: $60.00 = $25.00 DROS + $35 Transfer Fee We will be unable to take appointments between Tuesday evening 11/22 and Sunday evening 11/27. There’s a slight chance we will have some appointment availability on Sunday, but we will not know until that morning. We will be working on email and voicemail during this time. There are a few exemptions for handguns that are not on the CA DOJ Roster. (a) below is for single action revolvers and (b) below is for single shot exempt pistols. If the pistol you are looking for meets either of these 2 exemptions it does not have to be on the CA DOJ Roster to be legal to purchase direct from a dealer.
(1) Was originally manufactured prior to 1900 and is a curio or relic, as defined in Section 478.11 of Title 27 of the Code of Federal Regulations. (b) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to a single-shot pistol with a barrel length of not less than six inches and that has an overall length of at least 10 1/2 inches when the handle, frame or receiver, and barrel are assembled. Additionally, Face-to-Face Private Party or Consignment transfers are exempt from the CA DOJ Roster as well. |
